The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy

I've been hearing how cool it was for quite some time, and so I read the whole book in about a day, very cool, a wee bit confusing, pretty funny and now I can't wait to read the rest of the Trilogy, "The Restaraunt at the End of The Universe" and "Life the Universe and Everything" I believe are the books of the Trilogy, but there are some others. Basically what I'm getting at is has anyone else read this/these books and how'd you like 'em?

I read a few of the sequels but I'm not sure how many (lol).
The first one is one of my favorite books, and the sequels certainly aren't as funny but if you liked the first one a lot I'd recommend that you read the others.

I bought an anthology a while back when I had a lot of traveling to do. The first few are pretty good, especially the first two, then I think it gets a tad played. The third one is also good, but then it is a tad downhill. I think the zaniness and the commentary on what it means to be alive in the universe gets a bit redundant.

which has all the books plus a short story called Young Zaphod Plays it Safe.it's a really good value as it's printed on really nice paper with a built in bookmark and is leather bound all the way around.
