I'm going on a limb here...Sleeper of the Week

Chad Pennington. Yeah, I said it.

1. Cincinnati Defense: Bad. They allow 247.4 passing yards a game and 2.6 passing TD's a game. But then they also allow 145.8 rushing yards a game. With Thomas Jones having a breakout game against a stout Phili Defense, the Bengals may look to stack the line a bit to force Chad to throw the ball. Add the fact that the Jets should have to throw a lot to have a chance at winning, and you have a perfect matchup in the books. Also consider both teams NEED to win to have any playoff shot, and the game should be tightly contested.

2. Mangenius flat out denied a change at QB this week. Heck, I picked up Clemens for the eventual switch, but the fact is that Chad will start this week's game. Chad is playing for his job, this is his biggest game in some time. If he flat out sucks again, then Clemens should get the reins in week 8 v.s. Buffalo. But as of now, Chad's entire career is on the line, v.s. a horrible defense. Have faith, Chad has made some mistakes, but he has been a good QB for a few years.

I wouldn't be suprised if Chad was on the wire, and I think he is a very good bye week filler or good QB2 this week.

P.S. I'm a disgruntled Jets fan, and I want Clemens under snap, but to me, this looks like the making of a big day for our favorite player to hate.

Pennington, a sleeper? Never happening. The guy is going to throw for under200 yards this week (Cincinnati allows about 250 yards a game)and MAYBE a TD if he's lucky, but I'm counting on at least two picks.

Clemens.. get the arm warmed up for week 8.
A win next week and all is forgotten.

I'm a homer, sure, but I'd probably go with Campbell this week against a Warnerless, Leinartless mess of an Arizona team at home. He's posted consecutive decent starts in his last two games and he rebounded nicely from a bad second half against the Giants by torching the Lions. I expect the same after a bad second half against the Pack this week (that wasn't his fault)

I actually could see the Jets throw a lot in that game, whether the passes are completed remains to be seen
