Dallas Week 7 and beyond

Dallas is now 5-1, but the schedule isn't quite as easy now as it was originally thought to be. The Packers are phenomenal, Big Blue has seemed to turn things around for now, Washington is a good team as well, and Detroit has matched their win total from last year, with more games they should win. I'll preview each game every week and post scores with my thoughts for Offensive and Defensive Players of the game.

Week 7 vs. Minnesota: Minnesota is ranked 2nd in the run defense, but last in passing defense. Tony Romo will pick these guys apart with his array of targets ranging from T.O to Witten to Crayton and the backs (primarily Barber) as well. Running may not be fabulous, but everyone expected a stalemate against Chicago as well. Minnesota's quarterbacks have been sacked 13 times and this could be a field day for DeMarcus ware. As long as the defense is as staunch as it has been against the run and can somewhat contain Adrian Peterson, Dallas should come out superior.

AGree with the overall assessment...I'll predict Week 7 is a little closer though due to the not quite so staunch defense as us Cowboy Fans had hoped for...

yeah, for what was at first touted as a strong D, we have sure given up a lot of points and big plays. but I think our future is promising for the playoffs!

I don't see this game being that lopsided personally. The Vikings have started to come alive as of late. Enough so that I wouldn't think the margin would be that wide.

Sure makes the NFC East the best division in the NFC right now. We'll sure find out exactly how the Cowboys rank in the NFC when they play the Giants game @ the Meadowlands in week 10 and then the Skins the following week. Talk about two huge divisional games back to back. Yow! Cowboys could easily lose at least one of those games, preferably the latter one.
