Why is Aikman allowed to commentate Boys games?????

i'm not a cowboys fan. i don't like the cowboys. i get to see them everyweek on fox. i think troy aikman is one of the best commentators in the biz. i think he is very objective, and calls them like he sees them.

Yea 2 non Coyboy fans not seeing the bias is a great sample size...your not going to change my opinion because I will think its crap everytime I see lame Aikman commentating the game. Cowboys fan or not I dont see how you dont see it as a conflict of interest.

Well, you are the only one thinking that he is biased, so that's an even smaller sample size.

And yes, it is a potential conflict of interest, but if the public doesn't see a problem with it, then why change something that works?

Add a 3rd then... Aikman did that game well. He called the MN/DAL game without noticeable bias IMO.

I don't really see how it's a conflict of interest. These guys are paid to give their opinions. Anyway, when Aikman first started commentating I disliked him just because but I think he's one of the better ones out there now. In the games I've watched I haven't noticed much bias and can remember some instances in years past where he really took it to the Cowboys.
