Who benched MB III?

Postby tclangham » Sun Oct 21, 2007 9:03 pm

I should of stayed with him and benched Holt but I listened to the experts. I know the Vikings had not given up a rushing TD all year but it looked like MB III was out for vengeance against his hometown team. Oh well, anyone else out there?

I initially benched him early in the week after listening to the "experts". It kept bugging me and I finally benched Colston and put MB3 in at Flex. Didn't need the points to win but I'm always happy to make the right decision. MB3 is the real deal. If he wasn't losing carries to Jones, he'd be a top 5 back.

I did. It just wasn't a good matchup for him. I played L White, and MJD instead!! I got whipped by Brady anyways, so it probably won't matter.

I never bench my best players. I don't care about the matchup.

After the prior few weeks MBIII couldnt be considered one for your best palyers.

I gave myself a big pat on the back because all week I have Faulk in with MBIII benched. 15 minutes before gametime i switched them. One of the few times i have made a good move. ;-)

Barber is still one of my best players despite a few subpar performances. It was only a matter of time before he had another good game. I always make sure my most productive players are in my lineup as insurance against the day they return to form. It's just too disappointing when a guy you should be starting goes off on your bench, so I accept a few disappointing performances and hope the rest of my team will compensate. I'm 6-1 so far. For me, Barber is a must-start flex player.
