Anyone who thinks that we can even guess the exact day that the Earth was created is delusional, and I have a hard time believing the Earth is only 6010 years old.
Kudos to Leber for the amazing sig and to Metroid for the userbar and making them both fit 2008 and 2009 Defunct Dynasty League Champion

Maybe because if the Earth was a person it would have farts that last longer than 6000 years. The Earth is billions of years old. What's the number accepted by most scientists? 5? 5.2?

This goes back to my point in another thread regarding humans' concepts of millions and billions. 5 or 5.2? Does it make a difference? Would we even know if it did?
I don't know if earth started 6000 years ago or 5.2 billion years ago...
However, I do agree with Albert Einstein:
Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe-a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble.
This I do know...
There is NO WAY life spontaneously generated itself out of dead stuff. And then that fictional one-celled organism - with no purpose, planning, reason, or design; stayed alive, nourished itself, and figured out how to reproduce. Nope... nope... nope! Sorry. That bankrupt idea completely violates the laws of science, reason, and sound judgement.
This is where this thread was intended to go, isn't it? Eh Moon?
Yo, Met... thanks for the sig! GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
