It sure looks like it. When the Steelers played Denver on Sunday night, Parker had a run from the 6 yard line and made 4, next play Davenport comes in. Last year they gave FWP all the goal line carries but it look like Davenport is stealing TDs. On the subject of Tiki from last year, I don't get why Jacobs doesn't get all the goal line carries. I mean he was a goal line/short yardage specialist last year but all of a sudden, Droughns get the goal line carries?!

The combination of Davenport and Roethlisberger will likely steal all of Parker's touchdowns this year. Roethlisberger has thrown 13 touchdown passes, and Davenport has 2 of the Steelers' 4 rushing touchdowns.

droughns is getting those carries because

1. jacobs is still a little hurt

2. i've heard rumors they are showcasing droughns for an eventual trade

Well the trade deadline is passed so any eventual trade will be way down the road after the season.

At this point it's probably safe to say the best back the Giants feel can get the ball into the end zone will be getting the ball in goal line situations and it looks like right now they feel like the man is Droughns
