Worth playing BOTH Addai and Kenton?

Postby chipper » Tue Oct 23, 2007 11:12 pm

So if you have both of these guys, is it worth using one at RB and one at your Flex spot, in order to make sure you get the rushing TD's?

Bad idea?

Depends on your other options at WR/RB, but that's probably not a good idea. I think Addai will get most of the carries.

Its very risky, I wouldnt do it unless I had no other options at all that week, its probably better then starting portis and betts, but i would search for another option, if addai is in the whole game thats a wasted spot

FROM ROTOWORLD:

Dungy hints at Addai, Keith carry split

Coach Tony Dungy said Tuesday that the Colts "are developing more and more confidence" in Kenton Keith and "want to get him in there."
Keith and Joseph Addai split carries Monday night and it sounds like the Colts plan to continue that going forward. "Joseph missing the week before may have had a little something to do with it but more and more I think having those guys go and keeping those guys fresh is going to be good for our running game," Dungy said. The news is bad for Addai, but makes Keith a potential RB3/Flex option. Oct. 24 - 9:13 am et

I would only consider it when they play Atlanta and maybe Oakland. Then you know Addai will be in for the first half to get his 100+ a TD and Keith will be in for the second half to get his garbage time. Other than that you're risking a goose egg. ;-D

Yes it's a bad idea...

I don't see Keith getting more than 5-7 carries a game...with Addai more around 18-20. Addai was still hurting on Monday, so I wouldn't take the division of duties for that game as the norm.
