The guy who picked first in my money league has Brady and LT. He's doing well.
Two years ago, I steamrolled the money league with the following team:
QB - Brady/Palmer RB - Shaun Alexander/Larry Johnson/Ronnie Brown/Domanick Williams WR - Steve Smith/Housh/Chad Johnson/Joe Horn TE - Gates K - Vinatieri/Vanderjagt DEF - Minn./Pitt.
Now that was an all time team. I guessed right on almost every emerging player. I had one off week which resulted in the only loss of the year. Other than that, I usually won by 30 or 40 points each week. Life was good.
Here is my current roster in my main league. The number behind the player's name is their position rank in our scoring system. This roster has the highest-ranked group of starters in my 12-team league, and my team scores about 30 points higher than the league scoring average.
I'm 3-4 in this league. No joke.
---STARTERS--- Quarterback Derek Anderson - 3 Running Backs LaDainian Tomlinson - 2 Joseph Addai - 5 Wide Outs Steve Smith - 5 Devin Hester - 7 TJ Houshmandzadeh - 2 Tight End Eric Johnson - 17 Kicker Jeff Reed - 9 DEF/ST San Diego Chargers - 8
---BENCH--- Brian Griese Kenton Keith Jesse Chatman Michael Turner Anthony Gonzalez Patrick Crayton Chicago Bears
Last Year --- 10 Team Keeper League (8) QB - Bulger, Romo RB - LT, Parker, LJ WR - Holt, Fitz TE - Crumpler
Two Years Ago --- 10 Team Redraft QB - E. Manning, Bledsoe, Plummer, Vick RB - Alexander, Edge, J. Lewis, Domanick Davis (Williams) WR - Chad Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Joey Galloway TE - Gates
- Won both leagues, 11-2 in the first league last year and 9-4 in the second league two years ago.
actually in my one league, I just realized I was 140 points ahead of the next-highest team. (10 teams)
kitna moss welker houshamanzadeh westbrook Reggie Bush Gates Ginn Jr. (WR/TE) Marshawn Lynch (RB/WR) Gould Giants
bench: griese, young, campbell chris henry (wr) buckhalter joshua cribbs chris cooley GB
It's weird I don't feel like other than moss I have that singular stud in the way that LT or brady or peyton etc., but it just feels balanced and I'm cruising.
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.
