Kordell Stewart: Opinions?

Kordell Stewart went undrafted in my league, and since my team has a bunch of "so-so" quarterbacks (Fielder, Couch, and Brunell) I figure I'd stockpile one more so I can see which cream rises to the top.

Kordell was a 3,000 yard passer last year with an 81.7 QB rating, 14 throwing TD's, ran for 537 yards, and ran for 5 TD's. If you look at his gamelog from last season, Kordell really played like a superstar the second half of the season. But Kordell is known for his ups and downs.

Anyone have any opinions on Kordell? Is he a mulit-tooled starting fantasy quarterback, or a bad-decision-making wait-n-see?

If he is available, I'd stop what I was doing and get him NOW.

In some leagues, passing TDs are only worth 4 pts. while running TDs are worth 6.

Not to mention that running yardage typically scores more than passing yardage.

With Burress and Ward (and now Randle El) starting to gel, expect those numbers from last year to inflate.
