When do you "baby sit" teams?

I have been doing a league for the last 5 years. There is no money involved, and its just for fun. This year I have 2 people who wanted to join, but every other week or so they dont even bother to adjust their starting rosters. So last week one guy had 4 players out on a bye. Should I be adjusting their rosters for them to keep it competative for the other 8 people in the league, Should I ignore it and let who ever is playing get a free week. I want to keep it competative, but I dont want to babysit for these guys each and every week. So far I have not done anything.
