The Houston Texans are the only current NFL team that has never played in a conference/league championship game.


Some might guess Arizona but they are 1-1 in championship games when they were the Chicago Cardinals.

spodog PMed me about the Cleveland Browns answer. He was looking at the Browns from only 1999 til now. Here was my response that I PMed back:

Hey spodog. The current Cleveland Browns still keep the records and stats from the original Cleveland Browns. Look at any almanac or website and the stats go from the start until 1995 and then skip to 1999. That's why Cleveland isn't the correct answer here.
