Wow, if you've made it this far, you're feeling pretty good about yourself, right?
Well, if you play Survivor to "survive" each week and don't look ahead, you've probably already used up the no-brainers. This is the week where there rubber meets the road. Even the no-brainers have tough matchups. Still have Indy or New England? Lot of good that will do you this week.
Here are some of the matchups I'm thinking of taking.
Washington on the road over the Jets. After the ass-beating Washington got by the Pats, look for them to rebound in a big way over the hapless Jets.
San Diego on the road over the Vikings. Iffy game. Which San Diego team is going to show up? And Norv Turner is the head coach. Talking myself out of this one.
Pittsburgh at home over the Ravens. My beloved Steelers on Monday night are tough to beat. But it's a divisional game, and the Ratbirds always play us tough. Up in the air on this one.
Any others I'm missing? I've used up Seattle, Chicago, New England, Dallas, Indy, Philly, Giants, Tennessee.
QB - Dree Brees, Sam Bradford RB - Knowshon Moreno, Addai, Beanie Wells, Brandon Jackson WR - Randy Moss, Brandon Lloyd, Pierre Garcon, Kevin Walter, Lance Moore TE - John Carlson K - Jeff Reed D/ST - New England, San Diego
For week 9, I'm taking San Diego at Minnesota. The Chargers are on a roll over the last three games, both offensively and defensively. The Vikings, on the other hand, don't have much going for them other than great play by AD.
I'm not sure about using Pittsburgh against Baltimore. I know it happened last year, but the Ravens manhandled Big Ben in their two meetings.
There are only a couple games I like, based on who I've already picked this year. Green Bay over Kansas City Washington over New York Jets I'll more than likely go with the Redskins. I'm guessing 7 of the 9 guys that haven't taken the skins this season will take them too.
Pennington is getting benched for the J-E-T-S. His replacement (Kellen Clemens) is worse than him. Looks like the Jets have packed it in for the year.

How could you not pack it up for this year at 1-7 in the AFC? I think it's a good move for the Jets, time to turn an eye to next season right now.
And this bodes very well for the Skins this week. They should win easily even without Rogers and their offensive issues they still will roll in this game, that's how bad the Jets are right now.
My remaining teams left to choose from are BRUTAL!! I will probably go with Washington as well. My only other options that are remotely "good" are Oakland, and maybe Tennessee!! Neither of them are exactly no brainers. Oh well!! Lets go Washington!!
