Big missed call there on that punt play. They called illegal formation on ASU and roughing the kicker on Oregon, but there should've been two calls on ASU (not sure if they still offset or not). There literally the most blatant hold I have ever seen. One of the guys that lines up back behind the line wasn't ready when the ball was snapped and a guy ran right by him, so he wrapped his arms around the guys waste and tackled him from behind to prevent the block....right out in the open.

Holy cow. Has anyone ever seen worse clock management than what ASU ran at the end of the half there?

Soooooooo. 5 minutes left and ASU scores to make it 35-22, and then kicks the extra point. How do so many coaches have absolutely no idea when to go for 2?

Yeah I know. You'd think Erickson would know better. Oregon pretty much owned that game though.

Even though Jayson Williams had two TD receptions I am a little discouraged that he drops so many passes. Dixon played very well and his leg injury looked pretty mild...thank God.

Just curious...after LSU barely scraping by Bama and Oregon handling ASU pretty well will/should the Ducks leap frog LSU? I'm sure I already know the answer but I'm just wondering what you all think. Is LSU more deserving of the #2 spot should BC lose than Oregon?

Doubtful. While it was a better win for Oregon this week, LSU has some great wins over the course of the season. It's not "who gets the biggest win last". The jury is still out on ASU too. Oregon is the only ranked team they've played and they were dominated by them.

It won't matter either way though, because even if some voters do go by the "who has the biggest win last" deal LSU would just jump them back after the SEC Championship game, and Oregon has no big games left on their schedule. I expect Arkansas to have worked there way up into the top 20 by the time they meet LSU as well. If BC loses tonight then I don't think there's any way LSU doesn't get in if they win out.

Yeah thats why I mentioned I knew the answer. :-b

My homerism is wanting a leap frog but I know it wont happen, all Oregon can do is win out and hope for either a Ohio st. loss or an LSU loss....don't really see either of those happening though. :-?
