Trivia - Last Fantasy #1 Not Taken In The First Round?

Postby WeekSixteen » Sun Nov 04, 2007 11:13 pm

Who was the last player to finish the fantasy season #1 in points that wasn't taken in the first round of your average 12 team league?

Realistically either Tom Brady or Adrian Peterson have a great shot to do it this year and both were taken around the a 4.** ADP.

I'll go back a few years

2006 LaDainian Tomlinson ADP 1.01
2005 Sean Alexander ADP 1.01-1.03
2004 Peyton Manning ADP 2.**

I guess Peyton was probably not a first rounder but has anyone made as big of a jump as Brady or Peterson from their ADP to a number 1 fantasy finish?

are you kidding?? Brady threw an INT today AND ADP had a FL. No way they finish first doing that stuff.

My best guess would be Kurt Warner 1999, since he was probably undrafted that year.

I wasn't playing FFL back then though, so I don't recall if he actually finished #1 in fantasy points that year. But wouldn't be suprised.
