Just dropped 'em for Seattle D/ST. They are terrible this year & there's no reason to continue playing a dog cuz you were dumb like me & drafted them early. Cut your losses, I implore you.

Sometimes you guess right - and sometimes you don't. Bottom line, they suck & it bums me out. The one year I draft a D/ST early & they suck. Next year I too will be too smart & not do so.

Their schedule the rest of the FFL season is atrocious--Cin, Cle, SD, Ind, NE.
Their value the rest of the way is close to zero, unless you are a playoff team and have room on your bench to stash them for their week 15 matchup (Mia).
they were a consistently good D for several years, it's not like the OP made a really horrible draft choice......the ravens have been ravaged by injuries and an ineffective offense.
Thanks to deluxe_247 for sig, he is welcome to sail with the Captain too! I will win all of the fantasy cafe games.....next year
The point is that it's better to see which offenses are horrible and play matchups.
I'd like to see a comparison of the high scoring D/ST in standard scoring, and a compilation of whichever D/ST played Miami or St. Louis each week. Which would score the more points?

sometimes it works, people who took bears d early last year were in luck, but its so many defenses that will pop up its pointless to me to take one super early, i took minnesota somewhat early, rd 11 in a 14 team draft, by then i had my sights on taking a top tier defense before the run of them started, but it still could of been avoided, i scooped up tennessee off the waivers alot earlier in the season and ive been running with them for awhile...
but taking defenses arent so bad, there were even more people taking Rackers in the 8th, Vineatieri in the 6th, and a whole rash of other kickers in the 9th rd when the best kickers werent even drafted, and people like Hackett, Holmes, and K Jones were still on the baord...thats what I dont get

I took Baltimore in the end of the 6th. When I surveyed the landscape they were the surest thing there so I took em. I have the 3rd most defensive points right now which is about what I was expecting with them. I didn't think they would be the best but because of excessive defensive talent would put me up there in defensive points so I don't have to play matchups every week.
Against the Pats they got shredded, top offense against a weakened Raven's D, they had a lot of good players on the sidelines so I'm not worried. However their schedule down the stretch is really tough so I'll have to look for another solution.
Patriots D has an awesome week 15 week 16 matchup.
