Who is The Man in Seattle Next Year?

Postby abrunn11 » Mon Nov 05, 2007 11:29 pm

Will they give the reins to Morris or bring in a free agent like Michael Turner or Ladell Betts? I would love to know for my keeper league so I can pick the player up and keep him for a 12th round pick next year. And please do not say Shaun Alexander. I realize that the Seahawks are run by a bunch of morons (see Nate Burleson's contract) but even they are not dumb enough to pay a guy 7.5Mil/year to run for 2.5 yard/carry.

b/c of his contract i'm sure alexander will still be there getting some carries.

leonard weaver or w/e his name is has been doing good, he could get a bunch of carries too next year.

Weaver could see a more prodominent role, but he more than likely will never be 'the man' in the future. He is more of a Fullback, or receiving option than anything else.

It would not surprise me to see the hawks draft a RB this year, and give Shaun :~( another couple of years splitting carries with a young rookie.

i hope seattle keeps alexander as a starter, not because i like seattle or alexander, but b/c i don't like seattle at all and alexander will probably suck then too;-D
