Is this a 1-8 team?

This has been the most trying of seasons for me. I have the second most points scored in my league and yet somehow I'm sitting at 1-8. I have the most points scored against me BY A MILE! Twice I have had an ooponent score an all-ime league high against me (our league has been around for 10 years). Another three times I have had second highest score of the week, only to have my opponent have high score of the week. It almost defies odds. For the most part I played the right lineup week in and week out, just really, really bad luck. I guess that's the beauty of FF! Take a look at these two rosters and tell me which team is 7-2 and which team is 1-8 (mine). I have outscored the 7-2 team by 101 points this year, but he has 240 less points against.

That is just extremely bad luck. I've had something similar happen to me in one league but I've been able to weather the storms a little better to be 5-4. In the 9 games we've played 5 teams have scored their season best against me, atleast 120 points in each case. In a league where 100 points will win you a game most weeks, I've lost to 2 teams that are 2-7, neither of which have score more than 85 in any other game but the one they played me where they've scored 120 (to my 111) and 125 (to my 118). This week I barely squeaked out a win against the last place team 138-133. It just seems like week in and week out, nobodys continue to rise up the week they are playing me. Most years you will get 1 or 2 of those games where a team snake bites you but it's just been almost every week this year and what's worse its been the bad teams that I need to beat.

I know what you mean.. This is a case of bad luck, or whatever you want to call it. Not long ago, our scoring league I'm in switched to a combo league of scoring and Head 2 Head due to the gap between 1st and 2nd place was so great no one was interested in the league after week 12. It's a money league where 1st in total points takes $175, and head to head winner takes $175 with runner up taking back $50 (entry fee). We start 2 QB, 3 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, K. I'm 2-7 and 60 points out of 1st place in total points, and here's my lineup

Shaun Alexander(main reason I'm 2-7), Adrian Peterson, DeAngelo Williams, Jamal Lewis, Ryan Grant, Brian Leonard

So to some it up.. I've started Rivers 3 times and he got me Zero TD's resulting in 3 losses
