mostly good. a few things i will bitch about though. it is not supported on a 64 bit operating system. so caveat emptor there...another thing is, you can't use your mp3s you have as ringtones. you have to purchase the ringtone through the itunes store (unless you hack the iphone). but even if you hack it you have to use a particular firmware for the phone and an older version of itunes for it to work. and i'm not certain how apple views this. as in, i don't know what would happen if you were to get caught doing it, or if you inadvertently mess up the phone...are you just out all your money since you hacked it? kind of a crappy deal. i'm sure they'll get the 64 bit thing fixed at some point, but it's been a known issue for 6 months and they still haven't done anything about it. i just wish that i would have known before hand. then it wouldn't have been such a shock when i tried (and failed) activating it on my pc.

how is the weird touch screen? I've never actually seen one or messed around with it. The whole face is a screen right? Seems kinda delicate no?

it's actually quite sturdy. touch screen is a trip, though. makes texting and driving impossible. as there is no way to feel out the buttons. so you have to look at the screen and make sure you are hitting the correct virtual key. but it has a neat keyboard that takes a bit of getting used to as far as knowing where to touch in relation to the key. it's different. but cool.

Can't you convert mp3 into the Apple format before transferring it to the iPhone? That way it should work as a ringtone, right?
