I just remembered, my dad's birthday is on Veteran's Day... I'm a day late on calling him... shoot...

I'll go to his house and spank him for you, I'll even sneak into his classroom. How many is it this year? Have to know how many swats to give him.

In my head I was thinking... "yeah, what a PC thread, where everybody can post their 20 second appreciation thread to make them feel better about themselves (and make them look good to others) and then continued on their merry way never giving veterans another thought."

Not sure which thread you are referring to, but the one where he tells his dad's story is awesome. It takes on a whole new meaning when you see something from that point of view.
