question about yahoo

Postby Tree_Sloths » Mon Nov 12, 2007 8:34 pm

a guy in my league is playing the commish this week. he's down by 2 and had alexander in his lineup tonight. since he's out, he picked up robinson on the 49s and tried switching them out. he says it won't let him change his roster. is this normal on yahoo? or is there something fishy going on?

can't change it after kickoff. and usually within about 5-10 mins of scheduled kickoff. there are no magical commish powers hidden in yahoo that would allow him to lockout your buddy's lineup swaps.

Nothing fishy. I tried to pick up Will Heller to start in my game and could not do it for this week. It said the move would be reflected on week 11 roster. Sucks for me, b/c I still would be leading my game if I had been able to start Heller. I am not sure why I could not do it, b/c I know you can pick up players Sunday morning for the Sunday games and use them, but it must have something to do with the games for week 10 having already started.

In Yahoo Baseball, pickups aren't reflected on the roster until the next day. Yahoo Football doesn't have daily rosters, but the same thing could apply. But I'm sure the Yahoo rules regarding add/drops have the correct answer for ya
