What's the consensus on this, obviously this year with the patriots players it's worked well, it's also worked well for me so far with the Packers, but it's getting a little crazy right now, I was almost forced to pick up Grant after losing LJ, Ronnie Brown and Henry (I have Young, KJ and Grant now, needed someone to make a run at the 'ship). My receiving corps is finally getting back in shape, getting AJ back and Picking up SHolmes up are going to help a ton. Anyhow, getting to the point here, I've got Favre, Grant, Driver, Lee and the Pack D/ST, is it too much, I'm not starting Driver at this point, but if they have an off day, I'm toast, thoughts?
Last year I had both Holt, SJax, Bulger and Addai, Wayne, Harrison. I won that league, but being from the same team really didn't negatively effect any of the players. I locked up almost all the TDs that Indy scored and most that STL scored.
TEAM A LEINART, farve HOUSH, ROY WILLIAMS, DRIVER, hackett, bennett, marshal RUDI, BUSH, JORDAN, green HEAP
TEAM B PEYTON WAYNE, BOLDIN, MARSHALL, gonzalez, marshall PARKER, GREEN, chester, betts WINSLOW
I have a team in a 14 team league with Romo, Barber and Witten. I am also contemplating picking up Glenn. That team is second in points scored; some people told me I picked them because I'm a homer, but getting Barber, Romo and Witten in the 5th, 6th and 8th rounds in a 14 team draft wasn't exactly reaching for anybody. I knew Dallas would put together a high scoring offense this season, and they have not disappointed.
Thanks to eagles21 for the awesome sig

It's a risky strategy, but it can pay dividends especially if you pick the right team. I've got three Steelers starters in two leagues. In one, I have Roethlisberger, Holmes, and Miller. In another, I have Roethlisberger, Holmes, and Parker. I'm in first place in the former and sixth in the latter, so it has mixed results, and it does depend on the team around them (I have AD on the first place team).
Kudos to Leber for the amazing sig and to Metroid for the userbar and making them both fit 2008 and 2009 Defunct Dynasty League Champion
Let me just say, I'm against it ... but it has worked out for me this year (owning mostly cowboys)
I'm tied for first place (3-way tie) at 8-2 in a 14 team league. My only two loses were during the cowboys bye, and when the cowboys played MIN - MBIII had the td's in that game.
qb: T. Romo rb: J.Jones rb: J. Lewis rb/wr: P. Crayton wr: M. Colston wr: S.Smith (car) te: j. witten d/st: Dallas k: j. reed bench: M. Harrison, D. Jackson, D. Ward, D. Anderson, V. Davis, J. Walker, M. Pittman
another guy in my league has C. Palmer, Rudi, Watson, Chad and Housh and he's in 6th place in my division (7 teams) w/ a 5-5 record. So it's really hit or miss.
I have a monopoly on the Eagles with McNabb, Westbrook, Brown and now Smith. I'm 4-6 so that hasn't worked out so well, although I have been really unlucky since I do have the second most points in the league. But, maybe that is a testimony to the Eagles inconsistency.
A few players are fine, but if your going to get a handful of players from a team I hope you trust that team...For instance im not sure If I would want Rivers, LT, Gates, Chambers on my team because on a bad week they can screw you, but I trust the cowboys so I didnt mind having Barber, Witten, Crayton & Romo in one league, and other high scoring offenses arent bad ideas either, id take TJ and CJ on my team because I feel like both are going 2 produce week in and out, especially if all their matchups are easy in the playoffs id roll with it
