Fatty Rogers turned out to be a great pick although i think he's permanantly winded from his INT return against Denver and cant ever seem to play to his full potential for a season. Boss Bailey is a starter, for whatever that's worth (not much) and i guess that Bullocks kid got hurt so who knows what we have there

good call on Man-Ram II...where the hell is that guy? watching film maybe?

god i hate the Lions

Yeah Cody was a second rounder. He is an example of why this team sucks year after year. We do such an awful job drafting that there is no talent to replace any injured or under-performing starters. Just look at Matt Millen and the band of merrymen in the Leos FO have done with the O-line. It's a revolving door of coaches and FAs becuase they have been unable to draft a handful of decent O-linemen in the Millen Error. Now when we should be seeing Millen's drafts pay off we see over-paid Backus and Too Short Raiola as the only O-linemen to survive being picked by that moron. 2 OL in 7 drafts? Are you kidding me?

Thank gosh he has done so much better at FA pick-up. Where's that sarcasm icon again. Mutala(sp) is the only good FA that they have signed in 6 years. Woody is symbolic of Millen's ineptitude. He signs for big money and commences to eating. Now the other replacements are so bad or beaten up that we are trying to see if a slow fat Woody can play tackle?

When you build a team you rely on your 2-3th round picks to fill your roster from year 2 to 6 of thier careers. Looking at Millen's draft picks shows why this team is so bad:

2001-Raiola and Rogers both in second round. Good picks, solid contributors

2002-Kalimba Edwards in rnd two and Andre Goodman in rnd 3. Awful.

2003-Boss Bailey and Corey Redding in 2 & 3. Boss never panned out and Redding looks very much like a money player. He now has his money so he ain't no player. Poor draft.

2004-Teddy Lehman and Keith Smith in 2 & 3. Smith may someday be a servicable nickle or dime package player. Lehman a ghost. Poor draft.

2005-Shaun Cody and Stanley Wilson in 2 & 3. Wilson-see Smith, Cody looking like a bust. Poor draft.

2006-Daniel Bullocks and Calhoun in 2 & 3 Calhoun left it all in Madison and nevermind the Bullocks. Very Poor.

2007- Drew Stanton, Ikaika Alama-Francis, Gerald Alexander in rnd 2. Absolutely awful looking draft here. Alexander could pan out, but Stanton is not likely to amount to anything and Ikeika is a poor man's Kalimba.

Looking at the results and you see that not only are there few impact players, Millen, Ford, Rod, Martz, & Co. have constructed the worse looking draft of the Millen Error.

Yup that explains everything. The worst part about it is that hes not getting any better at it. Cant he get online and look at some projections or something??? Or let someone else do it. If he had any decency he would step down after what hes done here. Its an absolute joke that hes still got a job after drafting like that. SOOO many picks and NOTHING from it. All those terrible seasons that was supposed to insure that we get better, NOPE. The nightmare just continues. This past draft, and season are going to prove the worst we have had in some time. Seriously you cant tell me if we lose out that this year was better than last cause we won more games...
