Boise won't be ranked anymore, and is basically the same story as Hawaii. Quite frankly, I question whether anyone that ranked Boise in the first place watched any of their games at all. They are not good. Same old story here, beat up a bunch of scrubs and got whooped by the only BCS conference team they played even though that BCS conference team was tied for LAST PLACE in their conference. In all seriousness, did anyone that ranked Boise in the cafe poll watch a single Boise game this year? What is that team's strength? They can't run, they can't pass, they can't stop the run, and they can't stop the pass.

...There's a reason the voter who voted Boise #1 at the end of last season after the bowl games got his vote taken away...

I was waiting till this game to see if my rankings were correct. Didn't watch 1 of their games. Of coarse I watched my first LSU game yesterday to and had them ranked #1 most of the year. In Nor Cal they play crappy games in the morning and PAC 10 games in the evening. Most Saturdays I don't even watch the games I just go to yahoo to look up scores.
Today I will try and watch Virginia vs VTech but I'm still constipated from Thanksgiving and planning a couple hour dump.
Even if Hawaii wins out I can't see them beating most of the teams in the top 25. I don't think they deserve a BCS spot.

If Hawaii makes a BCS bowl game, they will be the worst team to EVER play in a BCS bowl. Now I am not saying they will be the worst team that has ever played in a BCS bowl game so far, I mean there will never, ever be a worse team to play in a BCS bowl game in the future either.
Looks like Hawaii showed they definitely didn't belong.

Dont worry Colt Brennan isn't a system QB, he plays in a pro system now and he can do anything against any competition.
Hawaii QB opts for hip surgery; draft stock may drop Posted: Tuesday April 1, 2008 2:18PM; Updated: Tuesday April 1, 2008 3:09PM
By Tony Pauline, Special to SI.com, TFY Draft Preview
Colt Brennan, Hawaii's record-setting quarterback, will undergo hip surgery on April 7 to repair a torn labral in his right hip and will be sidelined eight to 12 weeks.
The announcement was made to NFL scouts at Hawaii's pro-day workout Tuesday at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., and means Brennan will drop from a projected middle round draft pick to a very late round pick.
Brennan reportedly suffered the injury during the first day of practice at the Senior Bowl in January. After having it examined by trainers in Mobile, he made the decision to finish out the week of practice then play in the game.
The initial prognosis after the Senior Bowl was hopeful and doctors thought the injury could heal by itself. As Brennan trained for the combine, the hip continued to bother him, prompting him to seek a second opinion.
This time Brennan was told by Dr. Marc Philippon, an expert in the field, that surgery to repair the torn labral was best for his long term recovery.
Philippon has experience with this type of injury as he performed a similar procedure on running back Priest Holmes prior to the running back's All-Pro seasons with the Chiefs.
Brennan, who did not participate in any of the physical testing at the combine but did throw the ball during position drills, is expected to do the same today.
He tipped the scales at 218 pounds this morning, a far cry from the 185 pounds he weighed at the Senior Bowl just two months ago. The combination of weight training plus the inability to put in a full regiment of cardiovascular work has led to the increased weight.
Brennan finished a storied career by helping the Rainbows earn a berth in the Sugar Bowl against Georgia. Against Boise State last November he broke Ty Detmer's major college career mark for touchdown passes. It's just one of 20 NCAA records Brennan owns.
He entered the postseason hoping to prove he was much more than a system quarterback or the beneficiary of the wide-open offense run at Hawaii by former coach June Jones.
