So what does everything think they will be doing with this guy come next yr? If he is suspended for most of next year and the rest of this year is anyone at all going to keep him other than a dynasty type league. Will he even be of use next year when he does get back. Will he lose his job in Denver to Young and be in search for another team?

Does anyone think this is more or less the end of Travis Henry in the NFL?

Henry needs to pay child support for like 25 kids too, so he'll definitely try to come back.


For the OP, I think if Henry loses his court thingy to invalidate the second sample and the NFL rules to suspend him, he's gone from the Broncos. Can't exactly lie to your head coach and expect to keep your job. Maybe Henry can play for that new football league being set up by Mark Cuban or something, because I doubt any team gives him a chance next year. Perhaps in 2009 Henry may get another chance in the NFL.

As a repeat drug offender, Henry will have a hard time finding a team that will gamble on him. He'll sign up somewhere but I bet his first year contract is full of contingencies and not a huge pay check.

From what I read Shanny made it clear that if he was lying he wouldn't be on the team. Selvin will have more experience by next year so they won't need Henry.
