alternate tiebreaker possibility?

in most leagues positional ties are broken by either H2H record or total points.
how about using an index (number, if you will) that is equal to the total number of teams that you would have beaten. I.e. if in a 12 team league you have the 5th highest # of points in a given week , you get 7 points for the 7 teams you would have beaten. This is summed over all the weeks thus far. Just a thought.

not necessarily...because you could have 2 or 3 huge weeks and a ton of mediocre ones and still have a high point total...i think he's talking about a Breakdown like Sportsline does, how you would have done against each team each week and sort by that
