LaMont Jordan to be released

Postby APAP » Wed Nov 21, 2007 6:56 pm

I just read a news update on yahoo as I have Jordan as one of my RB's in my main dynasty league and it said that LaMont Jordan has requested to be released and it said that Oakland will likely grant him this release. If this report is true, where are some places that you can see him going and what does this do to his fantasy value?? I would imagine it really cant go anywhere but up right now...

Any thoughts???

From what I can tell, the place he'd most likely end up is with Herm Edwards in KC.
Only problem with that is I doubt Oakland wants to let an RB go to their rivals the week they're about to play them. Esspecially when that team is struggling at RB.

Just saw this on Rotoworld.

Michael Bush-RB-Raiders Nov. 21 - 7:34 pm et

Raiders kept RB Michael Bush (leg surgery) on the Physically Unable to Perform list, ending his season.
Bush can still practice with the scout team and attend meetings. This move was more a result of Oakland not wanting K.C. to get its mits on LaMont Jordan, as Jordan likely would've been the one to go had Bush been activated. Coach Lane Kiffin confirmed Bush was healthy enough to contribute if needed and expects him to compete to start next season.
