Favorite leagues and why!

Postby RCR » Wed Nov 28, 2007 9:54 am

I've only been on ESPN the last two years, and I'm curious as to everyone's take (pro & con) on the league they play or commish in. Leave a link so others can peruse your league for comparison!

Here's one of mine(ESPN), a very active one--> http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/leagueoffice?leagueId=197125

Pros: Saves league info year-to-year, allows decent image/sound hosting, allows any scoring format, Fantasycast is free as well as scoring projections & game lines.

Cons: on 2 occasions this year, live scoring was unavailable (or inaccurate) for the early games.

My main league has used Yahoo! religiously. Due to cheapskates that won't front money for premium services. Did try free ESPN last year and UGH! Never again. Yahoo! is quite easy to use though, but I've tried a "test" league with fanstar and really like the layout and ease of use.

I strongly push fleaflicker.com, Main reason is its free, so that allows for 100% payout in my league. Its easy to sign up and has a ton of options. Keeper leagues allows you to trade picks up to 2 seasons in advance. You should check it out.

If I have any openings in my league I will post here first for replacements if anyone is interested.

I definitely would be interested in participating in an active league. Care to post a link to your particular league so we can see/compare with other leagues? ... and to see how it looks and is kept up late in the season!

There is already a thread that discusses league sites and pros/cons
