I took my fappie with me to a rock band party at a friend's house last night. I got the camel-colored one. I put it on and use the lightsaber app on my iPhone to do an obi-wan kenobi impersonation

And I didn't get to take any pics of the road, where it's a single lane with straight up walls at least 10 feet high, because the camera decided to quit on me. I'm guessing because of the cold.

I posted this in the GC thread that will be locked in a few days & then I realized that I actually have something to post in this thread!

Today was a remarkable day. The Jets won a playoff game & it snowed in Florida. I guess a snowball really did have a chance in Hell today!

You have a snowmobile? seems like good country for it/necessary for getting around after a storm.

This is a 20 year snow storm. Normally we don't have this much so a snowmobile (or snow machine as our northern friends call them) wouldn't come in handy but a month or 2 out of the year.

The pup loves the snow. I wish the camera hadn't croaked on me and that my boy had brought his Flip video thing. She's crazy with that frisbee in the snow. Totally supermanned it a couple times, full bore.

Yeah, I got some buddies up there. Wow. Got hit hard then we did and that's saying something. Records were broke here.

Amazing that DC gets two monumental blizzards in the same winter. Called home today and my mom said their power was already out at around noon, and in Pittsburgh they got two feet when the forecast was only calling for 6-8 inches. Meanwhile here in Missouri, we have yet to get anything more than an inch or so this winter. I was sorta expecting the opposite coming out here.

My family has already fled D.C.; my brother and dad were planning on heading up to the University of Vermont on Thursday so my brother can visit the school, but the snow made them decide to head up on Tuesday and take my mom and youngest brother with them as well. They got 30 inches and are going to get another foot or more today. My former high school already canceled classes for the rest of this week. They actually had to suspend plowing in D.C. and Maryland because of how bad the conditions are today.

This is one blizzard (or set of blizzards) that I'm truly glad I don't have to see for myself.
