we got some last night in certain areas. Reminds me that I need to get my winter tires on. Prognosticators are saying an even worse winter than last year due to 'la nina.' Stringing together some consecutive hot summers/bad winters if that's the case.
Makes me miss Key Largo. Lived there when I was younger. Two season: wet, and dry. Always warm.
After a 45 and Sunny Xmas day and the same yesterday to drive home, it is now snowing the giant slow-falling flakes that some people call 'pretty.' Perfect timing as I sit here with the fireplace going and contemplating how to spend this week off from work. It's a veritable winter wonderland out there, and I don't have to go deal with any part of it
major winter storm in the northern midwest managed to stay just barely north of me. Only got about an inch of sleet instead of the 8+inches of snow other areas received. And 40s tomorrow to melt it all away

We had about 2 inches over the weekend and like you it was in the 40s and rained the next day so nothing really. We are sitting at about 1/2 the average total of snow this year(last year we were slightly higher than the average).
