I think that people are more concerned that it's going to change to sleet and freezing rain later. I'm hearing you we get about a quarter of an inch of ice on top of the snow. I'm just glad we're finally getting some frozen precipitation, so I'm happy no matter what.

But yeah, we're sissies here compared to you guys in Minny. :-b

nope, not at all man, freezing rain that puts a layer of ice on the roads will shut down a MN school too... that crap is horrible! Just the snow, crazy... you add freezing rain and i'm not driving anywhere! I feel "ok" driving but I don't trust other people on the road. I don't think the school wants a story about a car hitting a school bus or a school bus crashing.

Yeah, freezing rain will just shut everything down. It's funny because my step-dad grew up in Minneapolis so I'm sure 3 inches is barely a storm to him while everyone here has to go and buy food for a week just in case they get snowed in. :-b

I can already see him shoveling snow in a tshirt in 30 degree weather and people thinking he's crazy

Where we live, one inch of snow has the potential to cancel school because around here any show means impending doom for some reason.

We got a bad enough forecast that they canceled school. Nice. ;-D

I couldn't agree more...This is probably the most walking I've done in a year since freshmen year of high school, and it sucks because it is cold and it jacks up the kicks! I am ready for Frolf, longboarding, painting (my new job), working at the golf course, chillin' in the sun, pools, bonfires at night, fishing, lakes, just being able to smoke a black outside. :-L
