Finally, the matchup everyone has been waiting for since the Colts-Patriots back in week nine. The Steelers could be the only thing standing in between the Patriots and an undefeated regular season, unless you consider the Jets, Dolphins, or Giants a serious threat. Will the Steelers pull off the upset?
There's no doubt they can
beat the Patriots. The Steelers have a quarterback in Ben Roethlisberger who can methodically move the offense down the field, and their defense is far and away statistically the best in the league, ranking first in rushing and passing yards allowed as well as scoring. Their pass rush has made opposing quarterbacks eat mud 33 times this year, tied for fourth most in the league, and they have a ton of exotic defensive schemes to throw at Brady.
If the Steelers can get some decent play out of their offensive line, they can and will give the Patriots a fight. Even if they don't, Roethlisberger makes every play necessary for the Steelers to win, and that alone means they are almost never completely out of any game.
I think it's obvious who I'm in for. Let's see some good turnout for this one from both sides.
