It seems like the possibility is there for Harrison to retire after the season. He's obviously been hurting, and is an NFL old-timer at 35. I also ask this because I am in the process of landing Reggie Wayne, and he's been flourishing without Marvin.

Thoughts?

this is the first season in recent years that harrison has had a major injury problem....i don't think he's gonna retire next season, galloway is still doing great at his old age.

if it's a keeper/dynasty league, go ahead and get wayne, even with harrison back next year wayne is becoming the true #1 wide for the colts.

no i don't think so. He doesn't want to end his career like this, he wants to go out with a bang. Galloway at age 35 or 36 is still tearing it up and harrison still has a few years left in him. He won't be retiring anytime soon

I think he will. He will never be completely pain free running with those knees. My guess is that he hangs it up. Wayne's definitely worth going after.

i think if he comes back for the playoffs and they wind up in the bowl and wwin it again then it a very good possibility he will retire. other wise i think he comes back for atleast one more year.

I had a hunch that Harrison would take a tumble this year and warned people not to draft him too high. No WR aged 35 or older has ever scored double digit TD's, and Harrison won't be the first to break that trend. He's a sure fire Hall of Famer, but his best days are behind him, it's time to let him go.

I think there is about a 25% chance of him retiring. It will go up if the Colts repeat. I just think it will be hard for him to give up the game after watching so many from the sidelines this year. The guy would be coming back to a great team with Manning throwing to him. Unless Harrison physically can't play, he should be back.

Speaking of retirements, what do you guys think about Isaac Bruce retiring? Drew Bennett could be had for nothing in a keeper league. Holt is older as well and will be nursing that knee for the rest of his career as well. A healthier offense could see Bennett be a solid #2 fantasy WR next season if Bruce hangs em up.
