Well it is confirmed..Steve Smith really does hate me.
Yesterday he decided to finish me off.
Smith has screwed me at every turn.He hasn't scored more than 5 freakin' points since week 8 and only 8 once in that same time when I played him.I played Gonzalez thinking he would actually play more than one half of the first quarter before getting injured and be a safer bet to get that magic number of 8 points.

I lost my championship by 9 points

I can also put alot of blame on Graham and AP for their whopping 3 points each.At least the RB's actually got me in the championship game.

I still prefer to blame Smith.Thanks Steve for a wonderful waste of a low #2 draft pick. :-D

Did I mention that I lost my championship by 9 points?

For starting one of the worst line-ups ever in our league in the championship game...

I started:
Peyton (did great -- he gets zero blame)
Addai (gets hurt and rests)
McGahee (gets hurt)
Gonzalez (gets hurt)
Holt (just sucks)
Witten (just sucks)
Gostkowski (4 XP, 4???!?)
Vikings (Washington???? Washington killed you????)

I average 101.1 points for this league. Come championship week, I put up 56. Second year in a row I got killed once I made the championship. Please oh please don't tell me I'm the McNabb in fantasy :-b

Seriously, my opponent had Portis, and I'm playing Minnie's D. Looked great on paper.
Now I'm waiting for Gates to crap his pants tonight and lose me the championship.

Who would have guess Colston, Gonzalez and Galloway would all score under 4 fantasy points each. I know Colston and Gonzelez got hurt and Galloway was pulled really early, but that's just some bad luck. Guys like Santana Moss and Gaffney had great days on my bench. Oh and I can't forget Donald Lee's ghostly appearance in the game. I needed points from my 3 receivers and without that I lost. Couldn't match up against Randy Moss and Roddy White.

What happened to Bironis? I know he had one or two opportunities over 50 and they decided not to kick. :-t

I actually made the wrong decision on EVERY SINGLE roster spot I had in my championship:

Brees over Mcnabb and Garrard on the bench.

Started Addai and Kolby Smith, left Frank Gore and Aaron Stecker on the bench.

Started Torry Holt over Gaffney.

Picked up Schleffler instead of Vernon Davis.

Now I need 6 points in a non-PPR, 1 point/20 receiving yards league from Marshall and Schleffler instead of being guaranteed a victory. If I lose it's my own fault, too :-t

Screw me for starting McGahee instead of Brandon Jacobs or Marshawn Lynch. Played it conservative, going with the guy who had been so consistent all year long, and I lost my championship by 4 pts. Bah humbug.
