I have no idea one way or the other, but I will say this - knowing how many elections get rigged every year around the world, it wouldn't surprise me that a poll like this could be rigged, too.

It's a great PR statement for Saudi Arabia. That's all I'm saying.

The poll was performed by an international research group based in Washington called "Terror Free Tomorrow" and had a sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. I know nothing about this group, so I dont' know if that's pertinent or not as to the authenticity of the poll. It was a CNN story, though, so hopefully that means there's at least some merit to it.

IMO, knowing that the ordinary Saudi people don't support terrorism doesn't matter much to me. I'd like to know how many of the hundreds of princes are funneling their money to terrorism.

In any case, like knapp said, that poll is good publicity for Saudi Arabia. I don't know how much of a dent it can put into the negative perception bin Laden and extreme Wahabism imposes onto Saudi Arabia though.
The cake is a lie.
