I'd rather not have the penguin in Nolan's versions. I think he could do it... but his movies are more realistic. If I can put it that way, but I think you all understand. I like real characters with issues as opposed to mutants like penguin/freeze, etc...
I agree, and I don't think Nolan will go in that direction. If he does introduce those characters I think he would keep them within the framework of what the first two films have laid down. Not sure if I missed it, and his character doesn't seem like one that should or needs to be introduced, but are they talking about Robin make an appearance? I'm guessing no but you never know...

I can't give you a link but I am 90% sure I heard that they don't plan on introducing Robin.

Cool. Thanks man.
I've also seen quotes from nolan saying he wasn't going to put the penguin in any films yet now we hear rumors of Hoffman playing the role. We won't know for a long time on what the next installment will have... don't rule anything out. I ruled out penguin after reading a Nolan quote last week... this week it's become a probability.

True. There's always a possibility if they are looking to keep things fresh and attract a new audience. Robin just seems like he is not a dark nor complex enough character to introduce into the Nolan films. But you never know.
