Yep, definitely a 97. Not only the wheels, but also the filename.

Its a v6. Emblems on the GT are different. And I believe the 1997 GT would have been a 4.6 liter and not a 5.0.

I forgot to mention that the last time I was in Tahoe there must have been some sort of club convention or car show for AC Cobras. There were probably 30 of them rumbling through town, a bunch came through the tunnel on the highway while we we fishing...what an awesome sound that was.


I want one.

Cobras are awesome. There's a Cobra made by a German tuner called Weineck and they put a big-block engine (V8 or V10?) that churns out about 700-800 HP, if I remember right, which is extemely impressive for a lightweight car.
