Too many players on the field! How the hell can you challenge a penalty that wasn't called? What the fudge!

Totally. I was under the impression that you can't challenge for penalties. If you can challenge that there are too many men on the field why then can't you challenge for a missed PI call or holding? Either make all penalties reviewable or none....pretty lame.

The difference is that PI and holding are subjective penalties...12 men on the field can be challenged because it is not a judgment call.

Anyways, it was mentioned on NFL Monday Night Countdown that the NFL already looked into it and ruled that the refs did the right thing..
