What do you need to win the Championship on Monday?

Postby lsufan » Mon Dec 24, 2007 12:19 am

I am up by 20.6 pts and have B. Marshall. My opponent has J. Cutler. If I lose I may have to quit fantasy football. I win $215 if I win and $45 if I lose.

I need Brandon Marshall to get 5 or less points in a PPR. ADP, Brady were my saviors all year. Brady averaged me over 40 points and ADP averaged me over 35 and together they got me 40 between the both of them.

You can dominate all year and it just takes 1 week for a lesser team to step up and shut you down.

I have Brandon Marshall and Schleffler going for me Monday against no one, down 5 points. No PPR, 1 point per 20 yards receiving, 6 points per TD. No fractional points and I lose the tie-breaker (so I need 6 points). I'd say I'm a small favorite, maybe 60/40. I've lost the championship two years in a row in this 12-man league and lost to the owner I'm playing two years ago. I NEED this win.

I need Gates to have a 2 TD 100 yard performance..or just a 3 TD performance to make things easier for me. :-b :-b

Don't expect to win but it's really my fault. I started the wrong guy at WR and started the wrong K when I knew damn well I should have swapped them out. I stubbornly started Plaxico and Phil Dawson even though weather heavily effected both games. I was so close to subbing in Kevin Curtis for Plax and Elam for Dawson. Oh well, I can only hope now that Gates can win this one for me.

I'm down 39 points. I need LT to score me 4 TD's (24), run for 160 yards (16), Scheffler to catch at least 1 TD, and then for the San Diego defense (my opponents) to have 0 sacks, 0 turnovers, and very limited return yardage.

I'm done.
QB - Dree Brees, Sam Bradford
RB - Knowshon Moreno, Addai, Beanie Wells, Brandon Jackson
WR - Randy Moss, Brandon Lloyd, Pierre Garcon, Kevin Walter, Lance Moore
TE - John Carlson
K - Jeff Reed
D/ST - New England, San Diego

I need my league to overrule my crappy regular season performance on the premise of evil conspiracy overturn rule and let me into the playoffs and set my own hand picked lineup for the last two weeks from my roster and the FA pool. !+)

I'm up by 50 at least until tonight. I have Scheffler left and my opponent has LT, Chambers, and Kaeding. Keeping my fingers crossed mainly because of LT's recent performances.
