Both times he has had no fever. My wife took him for blood work tonight. We are concerned but hope there is just something we are missing. We can't figure out anything different that he is eating from what we are. Not sure what this is about.
Maybe he's pregnant?
Just thought I'd lighten it up a bit.
I wouldn't get too worried yet. I googled "vomiting symptom child" and almost everything I read wasn't serious or life threatening. I'm sure it's scary, but imagining the worst won't do anybody any good. Just hang in there.
Sorry about your grandma, Treat. Between my wife and I, we've lost all 4 of our grandfathers.
Also sorry to hear about your Dad, dolfin. My Dad is 62 years old and is a smoker. He's also a meat and potato guy and refuses to take his blood pressure/cholesterol medication because they make him feel bad. I told him that it was probably the cholesterol medicine (statin) that's making him feel bad and that he and his docotr should try something else until they find a combo that works, but he doesn't seem to care. I keep waiting for a bomb to drop as far as his health is concerned.
My Mom had her gall bladder removed right before Christmas. Usually it's an outpatient surgery, but my Mom was in for 3 days and two nights because she had to have a second procedure to remove an obstructed gallstone from a bile duct. The symptoms are very similar to a heart attack, so the whole thing was pretty scary. She's ok now, though.
Such is life.
