KJ falls to the curse of the Lions

As I am sure you all know KJ has a torn ACL, one of the more serious injuries that a RB can suffer. This makes two seasons in a row that KJ's season ended early due to a severe injury, last year the lisfranc fracture in his foot and now his right knee. It is possible that he would make a fast return as he has shown an ability to recover quicker than the average players do. It is also possible that he will never be able to fulfill the promise his potential offered.
It occurs to me this morning the KJ has been felled by the curse of the Lions: Stupid coaching decisions. Does anyone remember in 2003 when Mariucci defied logic and kept Stewart in an exhibition game against the Bills and ran him something like 6 or 8 times in a row. The last time ending with Stewart injures his shoulder and is out for the season. Now we have Martz and Moronelli deciding to try and throw a screen (hoping to gain 40 yards I suppose) at the end of the half rather than take a knee.

We know the rest. I only hope that KJ's career isn't over like Stewart's was. Why do our dumb coaching decisions have to end so badly. Curses.

It really amazes me, some of the decisions this team makes, from free agents to coaches to game play calling. It has been going on for years. Hey Mooch, don't forget leaving in Garcia too long as well. At the game, we all looked at each other and said, they are just going to take a knee right. Well they came out in a formation and we all just looked at each other like...this can't be good...and guess what...KJ gone. They had no business running a play other than taking a knee.

Yeah, I forgot about Garcia getting hurt in a preseason game too. So sails the ship of fools.

Nothing amazes me anymore. I just expect things like this to happen now. Its sad. Think if we could get a decent team here. You thought this place went crazy when the Tigers got good...

Spree, a part of me doesn't want to see the euphoric anarchy that would take place should the Lions ever be a real playoff caliber team until the old man and his pet Millen are gone. They don't deserve to ever see the fans they so willfully abuse rejoicing at the team they've neglected so poorly.
It would be maddness though, I hope I live long enough to experience it.
