My girl got me the book The Dangerous Book for Boys. It's a pretty cute book with lots of random crap in it for boys, like how to tie knots, make a battery, read a compass, build a go cart and how to build a bow and arrow and then kill a rabbit and skin it and cook it. It also has sections on famous battles, amazing adventures, and the seven wonders of the ancient and modern world. As well as info on trees, insects, basic geography, and the solar system. Theres even some basic grammar lessons in there...I really wish somebody would have gotten it for me like 20 years ago.

All daddies should get it for their sons.

Favorite gift? Cash money to help with the cost of converting my Impala from drum to disc brakes.

That book is awesome. We haven't made it very far, but we got it for our son (and for me) a couple months back. We filled the yard with paper airplanes one day.

I heard about that one too. My son has a friend that we've essentially seemed to adopt on the weekends and I'm thinking of getting that for her and the wife. Something to do when me and the boy are doing stupid boy stuff.

My fav is my baseball book no doubt. Trust me, I didn't want most of it, but I got it anyway. My mom and Wife like to spend my money on me
