Postby spodog » Thu Jan 03, 2008 5:20 pm

An average of 34.5 million viewers watched the New England Patriots move their record to 16-0 in their final regular season game. This was the largest TV viewing audience for a regular season NFL game in 12 years.

Which two teams played in the regular season 12 years ago, and surpassed this mark, obtaining 35.7 million viewers?

I found a article syaing that there was a higher rated NFL game this year.

The Patriots-Giants game was also the second-highest-rated NFL game this year, trailing only the 20.1% for CBS' Patriots-Indianapolis on Nov. 4.
