I will be very soon, I just bought the original half-life 2 (never got around to playing it in 3 1/2 years) and it rocks! I loved the first one. I'm sure I'll get Episode One and Two as soon as I'm through.

Ah, good to see you're getting around to playing it! No gamer should ever die without first playing Half Life 2. Such an incredible game. Have fun, you're in for one heck of a ride!

Dude the graphics are game physics are so great even after being out for 3 years. I'm still wowing at some of the sequences. And the sound effects for the big explosions are freaking sweet with my speakers and subwoofer. My desk was literally shaking when I was fighting that boss helicopter guy who drops dozens of those exploding balls. I could go back and fight that guy again just for the sounds.

I've played counter strike source zillions of times and Half life 2 Deathmatch and all kinds of the online games- I can't believe I went so long without actually playing through the real single player game.

Just make sure you don't make the same mistake with Episodes 1 and 2. :-b

I got almost to the end of HL2 over the holidays but have been too busy lately to go back in and finish it. It's pretty fun. I'll then roll straight into Epi 1. Gravity gun is so much fun! :-D

I just wish Orange Box had come with Deathmatch.

Yeah I got orange box, but Portal has totally distracted me now from the half life scene... That game is awesome, totally unlike anything I've ever played. Awesome voice work by the mysterious computer that's watching your every move...
