Mike Martz is the new O.C.

I think this is a terrible hire. Mike Martz seems to clash with players and coaches everywhere he goes. His offense does not suit this team. The 49ers are a running team, Martz like the 4 WR wide open attack. We don't have the WR's to run his offense.

Also, QB's get killed in the Martz system. When you spread out 4 and 5 WR's, that takes blockers out. Look at the beating Bulger took in STL and Kitna took in Detroit. I feel sorry for Alex Smith or Shaun Hill.

I have a feeling this hire is the final nail in the coffin for Mike Nolan.
