There is no chance at all he will be red shirted.
The only reason he went to OSU instead of Michigan is because he feels he can become a better all around NFL prospect if he plays in a more traditional NFL style offense, as opposed to the spread style that is to be in Michigan.
Having said that it is clear he knows that he will be leaving OSU early already, and he has even told tressel that he has no desire to have a red shirt.
Central Ohio was a funny place during this time though, and im sure Ann Arbor was the same. When Pryor was originally looking for a school both OSU, and Michigan fans where psyched to here they may be the school to land him. However when Pryor first decided to go to OSU Michigan fans decided that Pryor was going to be a dud, and that they where happy he was not going to Michigan. This is where it got funny, when Pryor decided to wait, and reevaluate his choice Michigan fans decided that they where wrong, and that Pryor was going to be a college legend.
