Get out!!!
I figured if I got caught it would have been because someone googled "beautiful couple", not because it would actually be someone here at the cafe. Talk about some rotten luck!!!
Seriously though, that's just freakin sad. This guy basically tried to become someone he wasn't on a forum where he thought no one would find out the truth. Then he gets busted and he's gone. It's sad that he's convinced himself that his own life isn't worth telling.
The guy on the other forum... eh. I'm not all that shocked about this I guess. I think we're all pretty "real" here so this is shocking to a lot of people, but I think lots and lots of people use the Internet as a way to escape, almost like a role-playing game. I would be shocked if there weren't a lot of people out there who make more of themselves than they are in the real world.
I'm more surprised by the reaction of the guys there than by the fact that this guy faked his story. You'd think they never conceived of the idea of someone spoofing their life.

Some guy posted about how he had so much money and he posted a pic of his car or something, and someone googled his plate and found out he was a registered sex offender. It got REALLY crazy after that.

Holy crap thats crazy! Did the guy ever come back and respond or did he really get banned? I only read through the first couple pages before I got bored.
