I just received an email from a friend about this show airing tonight. I'll either be watching or recording it. Sounds very interesting.

I am really looking forward to it. I've ran the same topic through my head many times wondering what things would look like if we were to disappear because nothing has altered the landscape like we have in Earth's history.

You mean... aside from plate tectonics, various meteor strikes, the sundry Ice Ages, and the effects of erosion, right? ;-) :-b

Of course the Earth will, for lack of a better term, "recycle" itself given enough time...I'm talking about the near future after human disappearance (less than 5,000 years)...not the distant future, chief. ;-)
