How hard is it to merge those two threads, as big as they are? We keep getting one or the other popped up on occasion, and it would be cool to have them all in one easily accessible thread.
I buy most of my stuff at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club. They kick a percentage of my purchases back to my kid's school, so it helps pay her tuition and I get the groceries, supplies and whatnot I'm going to buy anyway. Yeah, I wish it wasn't such a crappy store, but the benefits of the place outweigh the drawbacks for us. And they have a lot of good, smart people working there (you just have to search for them sometimes).
You do save a lot of money shopping at Wal-Mart and Sams and thats where I buy nearly everything besides clothes and electronics. They do have a lot of good employees and some stores are better than others in that aspect as well.
I don't have anything against Wal-Mart or the people that work there, but I kind of agree. The Wal-Marts (in Tallahassee at least), are really nasty and dirty. The wife and I much prefer going to Target. I do go to Sam's Club, which is pretty well kept. I'll be leaving there as well whenever Costco comes to town. Costco has much better food than Sam's.

We have four Wal-Marts close enough to go to from our house and only two of them do I EVER go to and only one of them very often because the others are pretty bad. You definitely have to have a good Wal-Mart to make it worth it. Our Sams is great, but I wish we had a Costco.
They're either: Mentally disabled, seniors, immigrants,DUMB adults or teenagers. Of course there are exceptions, some possess more than one of those traits.
Then again, Wal-Mart does get the bottom of the barrel.
