I don't have anything against Wal-Mart or the people that work there, but I kind of agree. The Wal-Marts (in Tallahassee at least), are really nasty and dirty. The wife and I much prefer going to Target. I do go to Sam's Club, which is pretty well kept. I'll be leaving there as well whenever Costco comes to town. Costco has much better food than Sam's.
Oh, so you're one of those people....the Tarjay snobs...LOL!!!!
Actually, I prefer Target as well, but don't really have a problem with Wal-Mart. I just have a problem with the people that shop at Wal-Mart. Rude, inconsiderate trash that let their 14 children run around and play with everything in the store (especially that little bastard with the bike horn ) without any respect for the other people around them. Not all of course, but definitely a good majority.
I've seen some Wal-Marts that are just like any other store and then I've seen the really bad ones. Same for employees. Some normal, some not-so-normal. Mostly my visits have been just fine and just like shopping anywhere else. A little short staffed sometimes, but otherwise, just fine. And don't forget, unlike most stores, the Super Wal-Marts are open 24 hours a day. I do lots of stuff in the middle of the night, so them being open at those hours works well for me. Been to Sams a few times, but never been a member. I do shop at Costco though to save some bucks by buying my Monster Energy drinks by the case.
I am the Reaper of Men, The Chaser of Souls, The Weaver of Nightmares, I am The Heart of Darkness. I now, and ever will be, The Purity of Evil.

Yea I need to do that. My wife's parents got me a case when we went there for thanksgiving and it was super cheap. I pay freaking 7.15 for a 4 pack and I drink 2 a day
The 2 Walmarts nearest to me are pretty dirty. I suppose part of the reason for that is the high volume of traffic that goes through, but the Target and Meijer stores are startlingly cleaner. Costco and Sam's is pretty much the same though, except for the crazy traffic I have to wade through for Sam's since they share a parking lot with Walmart.
I've run into dumb people everywhere though.
PS: Last I checked, bulk packages of Monster drinks were a little cheaper at Sam's, at least where I live. My friend in the Army goes through one giant case in 4-5 days, so he buys a lot.
